A Hawkwood Community Association family membership is a great way to support our community. A valid membership is required to participate in the Hawkwood soccer program, and is your ticket to a variety of events taking place throughout the year.

HAWKWOOD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MISSION STATEMENT
The Hawkwood Community Associations Mission Statement is to “build a community that is vibrant, cohesive and beautiful.
Our vision is to advocate for its residents’ needs and well-being, by providing a safe and respected community.
A Community in which all residents take pride and participate in every aspect.
We will facilitate programs and activities that enhance our quality of life”.

By joining the Hawkwood Community Association you help us finance all our social events. To make them successful, we need you!
Did you know…
That there are approximately 3200 homes in Hawkwood and only 292 are community members?
Membership fees help cover the cost of:
- Our community run soccer programs
- Helps with our skating rink maintenance
- Storage of our equipment used throughout the year- which is very costly
- Subsidize the Park and Play,
- Sponsor new playgrounds built in the community.
- It also helps offset the cost of paint for our Graffiti Liaison. Did you notice our community is virtually graffiti free?
- The operating costs of running a Community Association:
- The association helps protect the interest of residents with transportation – zoning- and planning issues
- We introduced the LEAF program, which helps make our neighbourhood so much more inviting and beautiful
- Introduced the “Stain your Fence” initiative, which brings residents working together for the betterment of our community
- Clean up the Park day
- And much more!
